Enrichment Program
Enrichment Program -  Big Success at Rail Road Flat School
The Enrichment Program was created by the Friends of Rail Road Flat School, a group of dedicated teachers, parents, school alumni, and community members. The group formed in 2009 while the school was facing closure. Their goal was to keep the school open. While that is still a goal of the group, they are also focused on enriching the lives of the students by exposing them to opportunities to which they would not otherwise have access.

Each program is two to three days a week for two to three hours a day running for one quarter. Most programs conclude with a final object, performance, or creation that the children can display, take home, or share with their classmates, teachers and community.

Any new ideas, segments, and volunteers are always welcome.
